FOR YOU

FOR YOUR LOVED ONE

FOR YOUR RESIDENTS

We are Home Visiting Opticians, Delivering clinical expertise with a holistic person-centred approach

Having a regular eye test is imperative to the health of your eyes and your overall wellbeing. As our eyes don’t often hurt, even if there is something wrong with them, we rely on eye examinations to detect any potential concerns. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to get to an optician’s store due to health or medical challenges. For this reason, many will delay having an eye test, leading to complications later in life.

Our experienced opticians at Opticall Eyecare aim to reduce the number of people who cannot access a high street optician by providing a mobile optician service across Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. Whether you’re looking to find your nearest optician or need assistance with contact lenses, our friendly team works with individuals in their own homes as well as larger care homes with multiple clients to ensure everyone has access to a qualified optician when they need them.

Home eye test examinations that give you confidence

For those who are unable to attend an eye examination due to health or medical reasons, you may be eligible for a free home eye test. Take a look at our eligibility checker to see if you qualify for a mobile optician visit. If you require a glasses prescription, your optician will offer you a choice from a range of frames we have available. We are committed to you and your eyesight, so even after you have received your glasses, if you have any worries or concerns, please get in touch with our friendly team, and we would be more than happy to help you.

At Opticall Eyecare, we understand that not everyone is comfortable with getting their eyes tested. That’s why we aim to make your appointment as stress-free as possible, starting with visiting you in an environment where you feel most confident. We aim to get to know you and your lifestyle as well as your eyesight so we can provide you with the best possible care both during and after your eye examination. We have a wide range of frames to choose from if you need glasses and always aim to hand-deliver your specs within two weeks of your eye test. We will ensure your glasses fit and you are comfortable with them.

Supporting individuals and care homes as a home visiting optician

Opticall Eyecare takes great pride in the support they provide to their clients, not just when having an eye examination but also aftercare. That’s why our team of opticians are not only highly qualified within the industry, but they are also fully DBS checked and are dementia aware. This means we are able to offer the highest level of eye care to even our most vulnerable clients. Whether you have a loved one facing life with dementia or you are a residential care home manager looking for eye care services for your dementia clients, Opticall Eyecare is proud to be trusted by over 250 care homes across Southern England the care and treatment we provide.
