Opticall love visiting Alban Manor Nursing Home because the staff and residents are always very welcoming and friendly. The home, itself, has a spacious and modern homely feel to it which helps the residents feel comfortable. They pride themselves on their communal areas and activities, such as their large lounges, Wellness spa area, cinema room, hairdressing salon and beautiful gardens.
We visit Alban Manor regularly throughout the year to carry out routine eye tests for new and existing residents in this 80-bedroom home. We also can be called upon for aftercare for glasses or if a resident feels there has been a change in their vision and would like us to come and examine them.

When we pull into the driveway of Verulam House, we are always blown away by the magnificence of this 19th Century Grade II listed building. The interiors are modern and luxurious in contrast to its age. The residents have spacious bedrooms, lounges and beautiful landscaped gardens to take advantage of.
We visit this beautiful care home to carry out eye tests on a regular basis and the residents and staff are lovely and sociable.

Garden City Court has a total of 5 households which make it feel like a warm and sociable inclusive community. They offer a wide array of services to their residents such as a cinema room, shop, w-fi etc., but we love the sweet trolley that goes round the home! All residents are individually cared and catered for.

Lancaster Court is a 65-bed home situated in Watford. The friendly and personable staff are an asset to the home as they practice their ‘person centred’ care to make every resident feel valued and looked after. The thing we love about Lancaster Court is their 1940’s themed tea room which really helps the residents socialise with their friends and family.
We regularly visit Lancaster Court to carry out eye tests on their residents, and can return to adjust, repair or replace glasses as and when required.
