We are pleased to introduce you to our Digital Eyecare Portal
Welcome Care Homes to your new dedicated page that allows you access to view and download all your residents eyecare information. With your secure login you will be able to:
- Amend individual residents information yourselves
- Request repair/adjustments for a resident’s glasses
- Request a sight test for a resident (if they are new to your home, or a current resident has experienced changes in their vision)
- Add, edit or delete residents details
- Print off a resident’s Personalised Eyecare Report
- Print a copy of a resident’s records (e.g. their prescription)
- Print an appointments poster to display in your home, to let residents and their next of kin know the date and time of our next clinic at your care home
- Check the status of glasses orders and see when you can expect them to be delivered
You will be able to access these medical records 24 hours a day, every day, so they are readily available whenever you need it.
ONLINE SAFETY
One of the most important key features of this new portal is that it will be encrypted therefore making it the most secure way to send sensitive data to ourselves.

This will be a valuable learning tool for all care home staff as it will be a quick but informative online guide to raise awareness to common eye conditions that may affect your residents, as well as an insight into the importance of the carer’s role when it comes to your residents and their eyesight.
